On 18 July 2025, the TryfactaEDU Global Foundation participated in the BRIDGES General Assembly, marking one of the first public moments in which the newly established Foundation engaged with the global community working at the forefront of sustainability science and education. The General Assembly brought together researchers, educators, community partners, and institutions committed to advancing BRIDGES’ interdisciplinary, humanities‑inclusive approach to addressing complex social and environmental challenges. It offered an invaluable space for reflection, dialogue, and shared purpose—an environment closely aligned with the Foundation’s emerging mission and values.
Attending on behalf of the Foundation, Adesh Tyagi joined the gathering with the intention of listening, learning, and beginning to understand how the organization could meaningfully contribute to the broader BRIDGES network. As a newly incorporated non-profit focused on expanding equitable access to education in India and strengthening the integration of sustainability, community engagement, and digital innovation into learning systems, the Foundation saw the General Assembly as an opportunity to connect with peers who share a similar commitment to transformative educational practice. Mr. Tyagi’s presence signaled the Foundation’s readiness to engage with global conversations around sustainability science, curriculum development, and the essential role of humanities and social sciences in shaping resilient futures.
The Assembly highlighted many of the themes that lie at the heart of the Foundation’s work: the need to support underserved learners, the importance of integrating diverse forms of knowledge, and the urgency of building collaborations that honor community experience while advancing scientific understanding. These themes resonate deeply with the Foundation’s core belief that education is a bridge between imagination and real‑world impact—a belief that informs its efforts to broaden learning opportunities, empower girls and young women, and strengthen India’s capacity for inclusive, technology‑enabled education.
The event offered a timely and inspiring moment for the Foundation at this early stage of its development. Listening to the perspectives shared at the General Assembly, and engaging informally with practitioners from across the BRIDGES community, helped reinforce the organization’s conviction that transformative education depends on dialogue, partnership, and the weaving together of global insight with local experience. The Foundation looks forward to deepening these relationships in the years ahead, contributing its perspective from India while learning from the diverse expertise that BRIDGES brings together.
